An accomplished and versatile leader in Minnesota’s philanthropic and nonprofit communities, Crawford came to CDF–MN in October 2011 with more than 20 years of foundation and nonprofit experience, most recently, as the Executive Director of The Jay and Rose Phillips Family Foundation.  During her tenure there, she led all aspects of the Foundation’s grant-making, strategic planning and community relations efforts.  Her prior positions include serving as Executive Director of The Sheltering Arms Foundation, Director of Fund Distribution for United Way of the Saint Paul Area and Policy Aide to former Saint Paul Mayor George Latimer.

Crawford’s extensive record of successful community involvement, both professionally and personally, has focused on improving the lives of children, youth and families. She currently serves on the boards of the Advocates for Human Rights and The Ann Bancroft Foundation.
