Occasionally, CDF-Minnesota provides unpaid internships. Past internships have focused in the areas of:
- Research
- Communications
- Outreach
- Advocacy

About 70 undergraduate, graduate and recent graduates intern in the CDF national office's Internship Program and other state offices each year.
