Low-Cost Health Care Directory Re-Launched

Uninsured and underinsured Minnesotans can now explore their options for affordable health care services by using the Minnesota Low-Cost Health Care Directory, which was recently updated and re-released by Children’s Defense Fund–Minnesota. The online directory is organized by county and includes listings for primary care, dental and mental health providers that offer free or low-cost services.

The directory is housed on CDF-MN’s Bridge to Benefits website, which provides a free online screening tool for families to discover if they are eligible for any of eight different public work support programs and two tax credits.  Uninsured families are encouraged to use the Bridge to Benefits screening tool to see if they may be eligible for one of Minnesota’s public health coverage programs (Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare) before using the Low-Cost Health Care Directory.  The directory can be accessed at the Bridge to Benefits website or from CDF’s homepage.
