Health Care Reform means good news for graduates. The Center on Budget and Planning Priorities estimates that more than one million young people will be eligible to stay on their parent's health care coverage until 26.
Students graduating this spring from college may be getting some good news, despite the challenging job market they face. In the past, they would have lost health care covered they had been receiving through their parents' plan. Now, thanks to Health Care Reform, most will be able to remain on the parents' plan until age 26.
The Center on Budget and Planning Priorities estimates that more than one million young people will benefit from this change in 2011, more than half whom had no coverage previously. Learn more.
