The CDF Freedom Schools® program depends on volunteers.  Read to the children, join in on activities and make a difference in a child's life.

All CDF Freedom Schools® programs are expected to operate at no charge to all families. Therefore, volunteers are always welcomed with open arms. Every individual has strengths and talents that can enhance the functioning and programming of a CDF Freedom Schools® program.

Read Aloud

Guests from the community are invited to read to students at local Freedom Schools® during Harambee, which is from 8:30-9:00 a.m.

Facilitate a Workshop or Training

CDF believes parents are crucial partners in children's learning and need support to become better parents. Weekly workshops are tailored to the needs and interest of parents. Let us know if you have a training or workshop that you would like to share with our Freedom Schools® parents.
