The Margy Weber Children’s Circle was established to recognize CDF–Minnesota's contributors who make outright annual gifts of $1,000 or more.  All gifts and qualifying matching gifts made to CDF–Minnesota in a calendar year count toward annual giving recognition.

Your donation to CDF–Minnesota allows us to continue to identify what children need and champion what works.  Through our research, advocacy and outreach efforts, we make Minnesota's children stronger, healthier and more secure.

Contributions to CDF–Minnesota are fully tax-deductible.

To make a donation, or for information about other ways of supporting CDF Minnesota, please email Judy Ham, Development Director or call her at 651-855-1179.

Thank you!

Margy Weber

Margaret Weber, CDF–Minnesota’s beloved development director, died of cancer on February 28, 2006 at the age of 56. Known as Margy to friends and colleagues, she spent her career managing nonprofit organizations, and many volunteer hours working passionately for the things she believed in.

In 1986, a Bush Fellowship allowed her to complete a Master’s Degree in Public Health Policy at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute. While earning her degree, she worked with the state’s Health Care Access Commission. She then established her own firm, Margaret Weber Consulting, providing fundraising and management assistance to dozens of nonprofit organizations in Minnesota, including CDF–Minnesota.

Beyond work, Margy tirelessly volunteered for organizations that address health and children’s issues and advocated for accountability in philanthropy.

“Margy lived out her vision of social justice for all by starting and strengthening many nonprofit organizations with that as a central goal,” Jim Koppel, Director of CDF–Minnesota. “Her dedication, her work, and her friendship have improved the lives of all of those she touched.”

Margy's greatest love was for children. The Margy Weber Children's Circle honors her love of children and her dedication to creating a better world for them.
