Want to Learn More About How to Be a Child Advocate?
Congregations Concerned for ChildrenChild Advocacy Network (CCC-CAN) organizes monthly hour-long lunch training sessions in the Twin Cities for people who care about kids and want to take a step toward improving their lives. The sessions include an overview of the legislative process, the ways you can influence the process, a briefing of specific children's issues, and ways to get your faith-based community involved.
If you are unable to attend one of these sessions or are outside of the Twin Cities, you can also ask CCC-CAN for a video that covers these topics and they can help you organize a training.
Contact Norma Bourland at CCC-CAN at (612) 870-3670, extension 14.
