Volunteers are needed!
One hour of your volunteer time can put $2,000 into the pockets of a low-income family—a direct way to help families buy winter coats, kids' shoes, pay fuel bills and even start a savings account.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites across Minnesota provide free tax preparation to low-income families from January to April of every year. Excellent volunteer training is provided annually in December and January and no accounting or tax experience is required.
